A 5-year-old who cried about being "too small" to be governor of New Jersey in a YouTube video will get his wish -- for a day, Gov. Chris Christie said.

Jesse Koczon, who made headlines when his video went viral last week, was proclaimed honorary New Jersey governor for a day at a ceremony with Christie Wednesday, the (Newark) Star-Ledger reported.
"We thought it would be a nice thing to do to bring them in," Christie spokesman Kevin Roberts said. "It sends a good signal to kids around the state who are public service-minded to keep their dreams alive."
The Koczon family met privately with the governor beforehand and was given a tour of Christie's office.
Christie used his Twitter account last week to comment on the video, writing, "Don't worry Jesse, people gave plenty of reasons why I couldn't be governor, though being too small wasn't one of them."
