XM Satellite Radio to launch 'Take Five' women's channel

XM Satellite Radio Tuesday announced the formation of "Take Five," a talk radio channel with programming aimed primarily toward a female audience.

The channel launching in October will air the audio from some TV shows as well as original radio programming, XM said in a news release.
Among the programs already slotted for broadcast are "The Ellen DeGeneres Show,""Tyra Banks Show" and the new XM exclusive, "The Judith Warner Show."
The channel will also air audio from programs running on cable TV's Food Network and HGTV.
XM Satellite Radio has more than 4.4 million subscribers.
