In an unprecedented agreement, CBS Radio will air three hours of XM's "Opie & Anthony Show" Monday through Friday on stations in New York, Dallas, Philadelphia, Boston, Pittsburgh, Cleveland and West Palm Beach, Fla., starting Wednesday, the networks announced in a joint news release.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Gregg "Opie" Hughes and Anthony Cumia joined XM Satellite Radio in 2004 after being banished from their New York station in 2002 for a stunt that involved a couple having sex in St. Patrick's Cathedral.
The duo replace David Lee Roth, whose show never caught on with listeners in the wake of Howard Stern's departure to Sirius Satellite Radio.
