Kathleen Mary Pedemonti, 50, is due in court on May 10 to face a grand theft auto charge, Florida Today reported Tuesday.
Police say Pedemonti jumped into a 2006 Chevy Monte Carlo that was left running in front of a Malabar Road Subway March 26 and drove away. However, the man who owned the car had a GPS tracker installed, and police used the signal to follow the car to Pedemonti's driveway.
Pedemonti said during questioning that she took the car because she had trouble riding her bicycle. She was taken to the Brevard County Jail Complex.
