A British woman has been sentenced to 2 1/2 years in jail for tearing off one of her ex-boyfriend's testicles when he rejected her, Sky News said Thursday.

Amanda Monti, 24, was jailed on a wounding charge after a Liverpool court heard how she flew into a rage when her 37-year-old ex-boyfriend Geoffrey Jones rejected her offer of sex as a way to resurrect their relationship.

The couple reportedly remained amiable after their break-up and were at a drunken house party May 30 when Monti made her offer of make-up sex. Upon being shunned, a scuffle broke out,and Monti pulled down Jones' shorts.

"Suddenly she grabbed my genitals and pulled hard," Jones said in a statement. "I found I was completely naked and in excruciating pain."

Soon after, Jones said a friend appeared.

"He came into the kitchen and said to me, 'That's yours', and I saw that he was holding one of my testicles."
