Willie Nelson released from jail following pot possession arrest

Willie Nelson has been released from Hudspeth County Jail in Texas after he was charged with possession of 6 ounces of marijuana.

TMZ said the country music star, 77, was arrested Friday morning when his tour bus was stopped at a Border Patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca.
He was booked into the county lockup on a $2,500 bond, which he quickly posted and was released later in the day, the celebrity news Web site said.
