A 65-year-old greeter at an Iowa Wal-Mart was sacked for showing customers a picture of himself clad in nothing but a Wal-Mart bag.

State records say Dean Wooten told Muscatine customers the bag was Wal-Mart's new uniform as the company looked for ways to cut costs, the Des Moines Register reported Saturday.

A supervisor told the seven-year employee to bag the photo after receiving some customer complaints, but Wooten brought it back to work and started passing it around again. He was fired.

The September incident came to light when a judge ruled Wooten was not eligible to receive unemployment benefits, the newspaper said

Administrative Law Judge Susan Brightman ruled "a reasonable person would know the act of showing a naked body wearing a Wal-Mart sack would not be good for the employer's business."

Wooten's defense was he was just joking around.
