Dog lovers from across British Columbia gathered in North Vancouver to look for a lost dog that has been missing for two weeks.
Ohly, a 2-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog, disappeared from a Mount Seymour parking lot Nov. 25, CBC News reported.
The dog has since been spotted near the community of Deep Cove, and later on a mountain ski run.
Harookz Noguchi -- who does not know Ohly's owner, Steve Goad -- helped out on a recent search for the dog.
"If we were to lose our dog, it's like losing a child to us, so I understand how hard it must be for [Goad] and his family," Noguchi said.
Local officials said they are worried someone may get hurt during the search effort.
"You get safety breaches, you get all sorts of things and that's why we want to get this dog out. It's a public safety issue," said Tim Jones, of North Shore Search and Rescue.
