The stars of the recent film "The Break-Up," Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn, have copied their film characters and broken up.

Spokesmen Stephen Huvane and John Posana confirmed the couple's split to People magazine.

"After Jennifer's trip to London several weeks ago, Jennifer and Vince mutually agreed to end their relationship, but continue to be good friends today," said the couple's representatives.

Vaughn, 36, has been in England since September filming "Fred Claus" while Aniston, 37, has been working in Los Angeles and New York.

The couple got together during the summer of 2005, ironically while filming "The Break-Up."

Rumors of the couple being close to a split have been circulating since Vaughn didn't show for Aniston's appearance in the "24 Hour Plays" benefit in New York in October.
