CBS has announced the identities of the 11 teams who will be competing on the nineteenth season of The Amazing Race, which will premiere Sunday, September 25 at 8PM ET/PT.
Like prior The Amazing Race editions, the members of the 11 teams competing on the show's nineteenth installment have a pre-existing relationship with one another. Three teams are dating couples, three are married couples, three consist of family members, and two feature friends.
In addition, the cast also features four teams that may already be familiar to The Amazing Race viewers: former Survivor winners Ethan Zohn and Jenna Morasca, former Olympic snowboarders Andy Finch and Tommy Czeschin, retired NFL player Marcus Pollard, and Zac Sunderland -- who became the youngest person to ever sail around the world alone when he accomplished the feat at age 17 in 2009.
