If you can't wait until the premiere of CBS's Survivor: Pearl Islands on Thursday, Sept. 18, VH1 has a solution for you. An episode of VH1 Goes Inside focused on Survivor will air beginning Saturday, Sept. 13 and will be repeated periodically until Thursday, Sept. 18.
Why VH1? Maybe because Viacom owns both VH1 and CBS. We congratulate Les Moonves on this example of corporate synergy. Among the castaways interviewed on VH1 Goes Inside: Survivor are the following: Pulau Tiga (Season 1) Jenna Lewis Gervase Peterson The Australian Outback (Season 2) Alicia Calaway Kimmi Kappenberg Michael Skupin Jerri Manthey Africa (Season 3) Kelly Goldsmith Kim Powers Ethan Zohn Marquesas (Season 4) Rob “The General” Decanio Rob Mariano Sean Rector Thailand (Season 5) Brian Heidik Ken Stafford Shii Ann Huang Amazon (Season 6) Alex Bell Rob Cesternino Jenna Morasca Three of these people - Ethan Zohn, Brian Heidik and Jenna Morasca - were the "ultimate survivor" -- and Survivor fans won't have to wrack their brains to remember any of them, as the earliest one voted off was "Dirty Kimmi" Kappenberg in the fifth episode of The Australian Outback. Airdates and show times (all times Eastern Daylight Time) for the 60-minute episode are as follows: Sept. 13: 1PM, 5PM, 10PM. Sept. 14: 11AM, 3PM, 9PM, 11PM. Sept. 15: 5PM, 11PM.
