The Hollywood Reporter said Friday that ratings figures show the USA Network action series "Burn Notice" drew in 6 million viewers on Thursday night, while the network's fledgling series "Royal Pains" captured 5.6 million.

The third season premiere of "Notice" helped the spy series earn its best season premiere numbers to date as it drew 11 percent more total viewers than last season's premiere episode.

The Reporter said among viewers ages 18-49, "Notice" earned higher ratings Thursday than a repeat of "CSI" on CBS and NBC's "The Listener."

Meanwhile, the series premiere of "Pains" defeated its time slot rivals of a second "Listener" episode on NBC and a rerun of the CBS hit "The Mentalist."

Details regarding the ratings of Game One of the NBA Finals Thursday night were not reported.
