A UFO believer addressing a conference outside Philadelphia this weekend was glad to be somewhere she is considered sane, she said.

Karyn Dolan, speaking to the Mutual UFO Network Saturday in Langhorne, Pa., said, "I love going to conferences. Nobody rolls their eyes at me. Nobody thinks I'm crazy," the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

Around 200 people came to hear her presentation: "UFOlogy vs. Paranormal Research, Completely Different or Two Sides of the Same Coin?"

Whenever she hears a news report about a sighting, Dolan said, "it is always accompanied with a chuckle. It really annoys me."

Decades of research have produced solid proof in the form of soil samples and radar disruptions, photographs and corroborated first-person accounts, Dolan asserted, yet the public continues to ignore reality.

Never mind, said John Ventre, state director for MUFON. The truth will make itself known.

"We're getting closer to disclosure," he said, referring to the belief that the government is hiding the facts and even physical evidence of extraterrestrial contact.
