U2//Vertigo//2005 Tour adds 33 new dates due to strong demand

The U2//Vertigo//2005 Tour has added 33 dates in North America to its fall tour that begins Sept. 12 in Toronto.

In New York City, tickets quickly sold for three performances scheduled Oct. 7, 8, and 10 at Madison Square Garden, Sales were so brisk an additional two concerts for Oct. 11 and Oct. 14. were announced and were also immediate sell-outs. As a result, a final two performances -- Nov. 21 and Nov. 22 at Madison Square Garden -- have also been confirmed.
Additional dates were also added for Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Detroit, Toronto, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Miami, Ottawa, Montreal, Hartford, Cleveland, St. Louis, Omaha Salt Lake City and Buffalo.
