Tyler Cameron is opening up about his thoughts on hanging out and having a drink with Hannah Brown after she dumped him for Jed Wyatt during the Final Rose Ceremony of The Bachelorette's fifteenth season.

"I think [Hannah's date invitation] was definitely surprising, but I think it was inevitable," Tyler, 26, told former The Bachelor star Nick Viall during an appearance on his "The Viall Files" podcast that took place immediately after Tuesday night's live broadcast of The Bachelorette finale.

Tyler said it's important for Hannah and himself to hash things out and catch up after a whirlwind couple of months.

"I think that we just both need to have that time to talk and, you know, just see each other and be there for each other," Tyler explained.

"I think we have a great relationship, you know, and friendship, and that's something that doesn't need to be cut off because that didn't work out. I think that's immature."

Tyler said he learned a lot from Hannah and their bond is sincere, which led Nick to agree that friendships with women in his life are very special yet platonic.

"I think we went through a whole lot together," Tyler said of Hannah. "You know, that was a crazy journey to share and experience with somebody."

"And I value and cherish our relationship and our friendship and that's something I don't want to just cut off cold turkey just because it didn't work out," Tyler added.

"[She's] someone I would hope to have a drink with and see what happens and take it one step at a time."

Tyler pointed out, however, there is "no pressure" for his relationship with Hannah to turn into anything.

"I'm excited to have a drink with her and just talk, because it's been months. We'll take it one day at a time," Tyler told Nick.

Meanwhile, Hannah was appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live and was asked whether she wishes she would have chosen Tyler instead of Jed at the Final Rose Ceremony.

Because Hannah grew so much as a person during her experience and heartbreak, she noted, "I don't want to say I regret it, but [Tyler] is pretty great."

If Tyler and Hannah's relationship doesn't work out romantically, he'll be a frontrunner to star on The Bachelor's 24th season next year.

Based on fan reactions and rumors, Mike Johnson and Peter Weber also appear to be in the running.
