A pair of twin sisters in New Jersey said they both gave birth to their first children only minutes apart in adjacent hospital rooms.

Danielle and Nicole Fisher, 23, of Clementon, who were born 12 minutes apart, said they gave birth to sons only 13 minutes apart Tuesday at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, The Courier-Post, Cherry Hill, N.J., reported Thursday.

The sisters said they found out about their pregnancies weeks apart and their due dates were two weeks apart. However, Danielle was induced Monday and was still in labor Tuesday when Nicole's water broke.

"I just think it's the twin thing," Nicole Fisher said. "It just has something to do with that twin communication. By now we're kind of used to it."
