The operator of a Tom Cruise parody site has bowed to legal threats from the Church of Scientology and changed his ScienTOMogy URL to PassionOfCruise.info.

New Zealander Glen Stollery came under fire from the Los Angeles-based Scientology legal department, which claimed his ScienTOMogy URL address infringed on its copyright.

Stollery has been quoted in New Zealand media as saying the church did not object to the content of his site, only the URL address, E! Online reported.

So, he said, he will keep the photos of Cruise and his pregnant fiance Katie Holmes in straightjackets and his parody videos of Cruise making TV talk show rounds to promote Scientology.

He is even still calling the site ScienTOMology, he said. Only now, Web surfers will have to access it via its new URL, PassionOfCruise.info.

Time will tell if Mel Gibson's legal team decides to take up the fight where Cruise's left off.
