Actor Tom Cruise revealed he has bought a sonogram machine so he can watch his child develop inside pregnant fiance Katie Holmes.

The revelation comes during "Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2005" taped Oct. 30 and scheduled to air Nov. 29 on ABC, People magazine reports.

In the interview, Cruise told Walters he is performing sonograms on Holmes as they await the birth of their child.

When she asked what he sees, Cruise answered: "A little baby."

Cruise's rep refused to tell People how much he paid for the ultrasound machine, which can run in excess of $200,000.

He said he plans on donating it to a hospital after their child is born.
