Canadian Todd McFarlane, the creator of the comic book Spawn as well as the movie of the same name, is doing a half-hour anthology series for Fox.

McFarlane is partnering with Angry Films for the series called "Twisted Tales" that will focus on tales of horror, fantasy or science fiction.
McFarlane will be executive producer along with Terry Fitzgerald, Rick Benattar, Susan Montford and Don Murphy. Much like Rod Sterling did on the "Twilight Zone," McFarlane will introduce each show.
"There is nothing on television that is scary or creepy enough for me, week in and week out," McFarlane said in a statement. "It is my hope to be able to deliver a series that will keep the audience consistently off-balance and frightened."
Fox TV Studios' alternative division is producing in association with Todd McFarlane Entertainment and Angry Films.
