Tim Allen to star in new 'The Last Days of Man' sitcom pilot for ABC

Tim Allen is to star in a multi-camera comedy pilot for ABC, tentatively called "The Last Days of Man," EW.com reported.

Allen headlined the ABC sitcom "Home Improvement" from 1991 to 1999.

EW.com said Friday his latest project for the network is a show about a guy surrounded by women.

Produced by 20th Century Fox TV and Lost Marbles, it was written by Jack Burditt, whose small-screen credits include "The Mike O'Malley Show" and "Inside Schwartz."
