Speaking on the morning TV series, "Fox & Friends," the three remaining founders of The Wiggles and new member, Sam Moran, all admitted that the casting change has proven difficult at times, a Fox News Channel release said.
"It's been very bittersweet for me, really, being friends with Greg, too, having been on the road with the guys for the last few years," said Moran, who takes on the role of the Yellow Wiggle. "But, on the other hand, it is an exciting challenge for me, too."
Anthony Fields, who plays the Blue Wiggle, detailed how Page left the band amidst bouts of ill health and how the band has reacted to his notable absence.
"But he gets -- stands up, and maybe 20 seconds later he feels faint. And he's having trouble walking around and keeping his balance, and it's happening more and more," he admitted. "So he's decided to take the time from The Wiggles and retire and get his health together, you know, for his family and for himself. And we're very sad to see our mate go."
