The Voice aired its fourth live show with the Top 8 artists performing for only four spots in the Season 13 finals next week during Monday night's show on NBC.

The Top 8 thirteenth-season contestants were each required to sing one full song as well as a duet with another contestant during last night's broadcast for The Voice coaches Adam Levine, Jennifer Hudson, Miley Cyrus, and Blake Shelton.

Adam Cunningham, a 38-year-old from Nashville, TN, performed "I'm Already There" by Lonestar and received a standing ovation from all four coaches.

Blake, in attempt to take a shot at his fellow coach Adam, said he was so glad that Cunningham is choosing his own songs now, referencing how the artist had landed in the bottom two multiple times when Adam was responsible for the song selections.

"You sang the hell out of it," Blake told Cunningham.

Adam told his team member that he's been such an "amazing surprise" in this competition because he survives week to week and continues to compel people with his voice. Adam called Cunningham "a top contender in the competition" and noted how he "deserves to be in the finale."

Davon Fleming, a 25-year-old worship leader from Baltimore, MD, performed "Gravity" by John Mayer and also earned a standing ovation from all the coaches.

Adam shared that Davon has "an ability unlike anybody else," adding that it was a beautiful song choice, especially since the singer scaled back a little bit to show more depth to his voice.

Jennifer told her team member that everyone listening felt his performance, mainly because his heart and soul was poured into every little bit of it. Jennifer admitted that Davon did that all on his own and that she couldn't coach someone how to perform in that way.

Brooke Simpson, a 26-year-old singer from the Haliwa-Saponi tribe in Hollister, NC who currently resides in Fort Lauderdale, FL, performed "Faithfully" by Journey, and she got all four coaches up on their feet. Her coach Miley said she almost burnt the place down with those vocals, and if she's not in the finale, then the show doesn't make sense.

"If this show is about finding that kind of vocal talent, then your winner is standing right here," Miley insisted. 

Keisha Renee, a 30-year-old backup singer for Nicki Minaj from Las Vegas, NV, sang "What Hurts the Most" by Rascal Flatts.

Miley loved how Keisha does every song in her own way and proves it's the best way every time. Blake told Keisha, a member of his team, that he didn't know what more she could have done to get herself in the Final 4.

Chloe Kohanski, a 23-year-old singer from Mt. Juliet, TN, belted out "I Want To Know What Love Is" by Foreigner.

"Chloe, this is the biggest night you've had on the show so far. It's the best performance you had," Blake told his team member. "America, if you recorded this show, rewind and listen to it again and tell me it's not the most iconic voice we've ever had on this show."

Addison Agen, a 16-year-old from Fort Wayne, IN, moved listeners to tears with her rendition of "Both Sides" by Joni Mitchell.

Blake said he's such a fan of Addison and she's "a flagship person" on the show for women and songwriters.

Adam revealed that Addison has changed the way he views The Voice "game" because since she's such an artist, he'd rather have her sing songs that mean something to her and impact her fans rather than choose tunes that could result in her winning.

"This girl is 'The Voice' and she's even beyond that," Adam announced. "I think you should win this competition, but even if you don't, I don't care. Because I think you're one of the most special gifts I've ever had the pleasure of working with, and I love you. I really do."

Red Marlow, a 40-year-old construction company owner from Rogersville, AL who currently resides in Dickson, TN, took the stage with "Go Rest High On that Mountain" by Vince Gill.

Miley told Red that she wishes he was on her team since he's so genuine and authentic. Blake added that every country music fan probably loved and appreciated what he did onstage.

And Noah Mac, a 17-year-old from Dublin, CA, performed "River" by Bishop Briggs.

Miley explained that Noah can be proud of every single performance he's done since the start of the season. She also said he brings something "modern and youthful" to The Voice and people know who he is. Jennifer then told her artist that he commands the stage and shows he believes in himself.

Brooke and Davon also performed a duet of "Earned It" by The Weeknd, Cunningham and Red sang "Can't You See" by The Marshall Tucker Band, Addison and Keisha sang "Strong Enough" by Sheryl Crow, and Chloe and Noah took the stage with "Wicked Game" by Chris Isaak.

Only four artists will survive Tuesday night's results show, sending four contestants to The Voice's finale next week.
