Viewers will be able to experience what a real "blind audition" is like by listening to the sound of someone's voice without being able to see what the singer looks like onstage, E! News reported.

The opportunity will give The Voice fans a fresh perspective on the show's first round, and it will apparently be a memorable moment for everyone involved.

"I think you're the most important person who's ever been on this show," coach Adam Levine reportedly told the mystery contestant after his or her audition.

Season 9 will feature many inspirational backstories -- including an Olympic hopeful whose dreams ended with an injury, a plane crash survivor, and a teen whose stepdad was killed disarming a bomb in Iraq. More children will also be auditioning for the show than ever before, according to E! News.

In addition, the premiere will showcase an amazing performance from coaches Levine, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams. The new edition might have a different vibe since both Shelton and Stefani are single for the first time.

The Voice premieres Monday, September 21 at 8PM ET/PT on NBC.
