The Voice crowned Alisan Porter its tenth-season champion during Tuesday night's live broadcast of the NBC reality singing competition's finale.

"The winner of The Voice is... Alisan Porter, Team Christina!" The Voice host Carson Daly announced at the conclusion of the two-hour broadcast. "You won it, congratulations!"

Porter's victory marked the first win for The Voice coach Christina Aguilera and the first victory for any female coach.

"Oh my god! Oh my god," Porter shouted after she and Christina hugged and squealed on stage in celebration.

"I love you," Porter told Christina as The Voice judge kneeled and bowed to the newly crowned winner.

Adam Wakefield, who had been mentored by The Voice coach Blake Shelton, finished as the competition's runner-up.

"A big hand to Adam Wakefield and all four of our finalists! And coach Christina Aguilera, our first female coach victor here on The Voice!" Daly said.

Porter won after she received the most home viewer votes following Monday night's final performance show, which had also featured Hannah Huston and Laith Al-Saadi competing alongside Porter and Wakefield

Huston had been a member of The Voice coach Pharrell Williams' team and finished in third place.

Al-Saadi, a member of coach Adam Levine's team, finished in fourth place.
