The Voice coaches advanced seven artists to the "Knockout Round" during Tuesday night's Season 11 broadcast of the "Battle Round."

The "Battle Round" continued with The Voice coaches Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton selecting a total of six Battle winners: Sophia Urista, Courtney Harrell, Ponciano Seoane, Josette Diaz, Maye Thomas, and Michael Sanchez.

In this round, each coach is allowed two "steals," meaning an artist who loses a face-off may be stolen by a different coach so he or she can resume competing on The Voice.

The single artist who was stolen in last night's broadcast was Dave Moisan, who jumped from "Team Alicia" to "Team Adam."

In the "Battle Round," a coach pairs two of his or her team members up to sing one song simultaneously. The artists must work hard to stand out and deliver a better performance than their opponents.

The night began with a Battle from Miley's team, which has also been guided by their adviser Joan Jett.

Sophia went up against Lane Mack for a performance of "Money" by Pink Floyd. Miley told Lane that he attacked the song and Sophia that she has absorbed everything thrown at her so far. Miley chose to advance Sophia to the next round because she boasts "so much personality" and "no fear."

Since Sophia won the Battle and none of the coaches opted to steal her opponent, Lane was eliminated from The Voice competition.

Blake Shelton, who is working with Bette Midler this season, paired up Courtney with Ethan Tucker to sing "Gravity" by John Mayer.

Blake admitted he fully regrets matching them together since they are both "incredible" artists. Blake explained there is no song Courtney can't sing, while Ethan has a cool, natural sound that catches people's attention. At the end of the day, Blake chose to keep Courtney on his team.

Courtney's step forward in the competition meant Ethan had to go home.

In a Battle for "Team Alicia" and its adviser Charlie Puth, Michael and Dave took the stage with "Valerie." Alicia praised them for their ability to play multiple instruments. She said Michael has a beautiful, round voice while Dave has a smokey, smooth falsetto.

In the end, Alicia wanted Michael on her team because he has a "really unique voice" and is "a killer piano player." Dave was then stolen by Adam heading into the "Knockout Round."

A few Battles were glossed over during last night's broadcast.

Ponciano will be staying on Adam's team, which is advised by Sammy Hagar, after singing "Tenerife Sea" against Elia Esparza.

Miley chose to advance Josette after her Battle against Charity Bowden in which they sang "She's Got You." Miley also matched up Maye with Khaliya Kimberlie to sing "For What It's Worth," and Maye came out on top.
