The Voice's sixth season got off to a very strong start with three blind auditions resulting in four-chair turnarounds and one of those contestants absolutely blowing the coaches away during Monday night's premiere episode.

In the initial "blind auditions" phase of the competition, Christina Grimmie from Marlton, NJ; Biff Gore from Denver, CO; and Bria Kelly from Smithfield, VA, impressed The Voice coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira, and Usher to the point where they all turned around and fought for the artists to be on their individual teams.

Usher came out on top, snagging both Bria and Biff for his team. Adam managed to get Christina on his team.

Bria, 17, wowed the coaches in particular, prompting the four-person panel to all give her a standing ovation and take out the big guns when attempting to win her over.

"O-M-G, I can't believe it's you who was doing that. You haven't even been alive long enough to feel the pain that you were expressing up there," Adam noted.

"Destiny has brought us together," Usher said.

"Can I talk?" Blake interjected. "You are a stud. You are. It's just a powerful presence up there. She is a stud... She is a stud."

"That's working against you buddy. I don't know if I would keep using that," Adam told Blake.

"You have this energy that just takes over the room and I would love to help you with the knowledge I've gotten over the years to give you everything that you need along the way," Shakira argued.

"Here's the deal, I'm your fan no matter what you do. I'm going to end up buying your record," Blake insisted.

"I want to support your record, I want to buy your record, I want to help you develop your record. I don't have The Voice trophy, I don't, but there is one thing that I do have and I want you to have as well," Usher began.

"An empty space where The Voice trophy would go," Blake joked.

"No, it's one of these," Usher said as he whipped out a Grammy award. "I want you to see it."

Shakira, Adam and Blake then all reminded Usher they had won many Grammy awards as well.

"Bribery! Bribery!" Adam yelled.

"Hard work, determination and making the right choice," Usher explained when Blake asked what his trophy had to do with Bria.

"And if you're really cool, you can turn your Grammys into shoes like Usher did," Adam snapped.

Bria ended up selecting Usher -- although she originally planned to pick Adam -- because he fought for her very hard and showed great enthusiasm.

As for Biff, Shakira made some hilarious points when fighting to have him on her team.

"Can I be your date at the Grammys when you and I win this thing?" Shakira asked him.

"I'll tell you why you should pick me as your coach. Adam's too busy thinking about his wedding. Everything he's got in his head are flower arrangements! [Usher] is preparing for a movie so he's just been doing sit-ups... you can't work with someone like that. And [Blake] is drunk! He's drunk most of the time!"

"That's why I need you, [Biff]! She's right, help me!" Blake yelled out.

"Well, Shakira, she's got like a baby or something, so," Adam said.

"Motherhood has made me even sharper!" Shakira argued.

However, Biff chose Usher after the coach told him that "individuality" is what allowed him to stand out from the rest.

Christina also got all four coaches bickering over her.

Adam called her "engaging, passionate" and "more comfortable" onstage than even he is almost.

"That's the moment when you realize this person could be a huge star. I really believe that, and it's going to get bloody and we're going to fight. But I'm going to fight harder... No one fights harder than me. Six seasons!" Adam explained.

"He hasn't had a day off! He's tired!" yelled Shakira.

"Do I look tired?" Adam asked.

"In Season 4, I might have been hormonal and sleepless, but now I'm rested and I'm focused as a laser. I'm going to give you all this focus!" Shakira begged.

Usher argued he'd understand her as a "phenomenal" artist and be able to "unlock" her "incredible potential" and ultimately win the show with her.

"I understand you as a woman," Shakira quickly noted.

Blake joked if Christina picked Usher, she'd never be able to get a word in. He then said he just wanted to figure out who Christina wants to be as an artist and help take her there.

Christina picked Adam in the end because she believed she'd learn so much from him.

In addition to Bria, Biff and Christina, five other acts were shown advancing from the "blind auditions" phase during last night's broadcast. The acts were "Team Adam's" Dawn & Hawkes from Austin, TX; "Team Blake's" Jake Worthington from La Porte, TX; "Team Shakira's" Jeremy Briggs from Sacramento, CA, and Kristen Merlin from Hanson, MA; and "Team Usher's" T.J. Wilkins from Los Angeles, CA.

T.J. and Jake got three of the four chairs to turn around for them during their auditions.
