NBC has begun production on The Celebrity Apprentice's third season, as photos have surfaced of the contestants shooting the show's title sequence in New York City's Meatpacking District on Wednesday.

While the U.K.'s Daily Mail newspaper obtained numerous cast photos -- including one that appears to show 13 cast members strolling down a wet-down street while filming the show's title sequence -- only six of the cast members seem to have enough celebrity stature to be identified by the British newspaper.

Those six are America's Got Talent judge Sharon Osbourne, Rock of Love star Brett Michaels, musician Cyndi Lauper, retired MLB baseball player Darryl Strawberry, actress Holly Robinson Peete, and indicted former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich.

Blagojevich's inclusion in the title sequence filming would seem to confirm he'll be appearing on The Celebrity Apprentice as a member of the show's third-season cast.

Although reports that Blagojevich would appear on The Celebrity Apprentice had surfaced last week, it had remained unclear whether he would compete or just make an appearance on the show.

The Apprentice co-star Ivanka Trump had gushed about The Celebrity Apprentice's third-season cast during a Tuesday appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly.

"We start filming actually next week... I'm beyond excited," she said.  "It's obviously so important to have the right people, and this year we feel so good about the group we've put together.  They'll make [second-season contestant] Joan [Rivers] look calm."

Blagojevich had been set to compete on NBC's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! revival this summer, however a judge subsequently denied his request that he be allowed to travel to Costa Rica to compete on the reality competition, resulting in his wife Patti competing instead.

Patti Blagojevich lasted 23 days in the jungle before home viewers voted her out during I'm a Celebrity's live penultimate broadcast.

The Celebrity Apprentice's third season is expected to premiere in January.
