The Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher has explained why Robby Hayes got the Group Date rose on Monday night's episode.

Fletcher enjoyed a "chill" Group Date in her hotel suite in Argentina with Hayes, James Taylor and Chase McNary. The day included some junk food, "Truth or Dare" and stripping, but deep discussions also took place.

"All of my conversations with these guys were great, and there were moments when I thought the rose was headed to each guy. But my conversation with Robby stood out above the others; he was just so expressive with his feelings and his emotions," Fletcher wrote in her People blog.

The main reason why Fletcher gave Hayes the coveted rose -- which Taylor and McNary both expected to receive -- was because she had no doubts he truly cared about her and loved her. She felt their relationship had a solid foundation heading into the men's hometown dates.

"I just felt so confident in Robby's feelings for me, and that's really why I chose to give him the rose to meet his family," the Bachelorette said.

"Despite being a little worried about the ex-girlfriend situation (more on that next week!), his attempt to ease my concerns proved he was in this for me."

Fletcher's "concerns" stemmed from the fact Hayes revealed he had dumped his ex-girlfriend of over three years in December 2015, which was four months prior to when that scene filmed in Argentina. The brunette beauty feared Hayes wasn't over his ex or had enough time to move on.

"I chose to trust in him and believe him," Fletcher noted.

Next week, Fletcher will be heading to Hayes, McNary, Luke Pell and Jordan Rodgers' hometowns.

"[I'll] meet the families of the four men I care so much about. We all know how my own hometown visit went last season (disaster!), and I would be lying if I said there wasn't some drama this time around," Fletcher teased.

Based on previews for the next episode, some of that drama will include Hayes and his past relationship.

"Tune in to check it out!" The Bachelorette star said.
