The Bachelorette couple Clare Crawley and Dale Moss insist they never communicated before filming Season 16 and they both fell madly in love with each other at first sight.

Since it took only two weeks for Clare to determine Dale was the guy she wanted to be with forever, she dumped all of her other The Bachelorette bachelors to pursue one serious relationship.

The 39-year-old hairstylist's journey on the show ended with Dale, a 32-year-old model and former college basketball and football player from Brandon, SD, getting down on one knee and the couple getting engaged.

During Tuesday night's episode of The Bachelorette -- which now stars Tayshia Adams -- Clare and Dale sat down with host Chris Harrison and answered pressing questions about their whirlwind romance and the current status of their relationship.

"It's just been a dream come true," Clare gushed of her relationship.

"Every time I wake up, my mind almost reverts to old patterns of like, 'What did I do to deserve this, this man?' And I look over and he's like, 'I love you.' I then change my thought to, 'I've waited my lifetime for this.'"

Clare said it felt like everything else in the world "just disappeared" when Dale stepped out of the limo on the first night of filming The Bachelorette in mid-July.

"Everything went dark around us. It was just him and I," Clare said.

Chris asked if it was love at first sight, and Clare replied, "Absolutely. It felt like on some planet somewhere else, we've just known each other. I can't put words to that, I still can't."

Clare said she tried to give her other bachelors a chance and felt a spark with some of them but she couldn't get Dale out of the back of her mind.

"It was hands down love at first sight," Dale agreed.

"I was just taken aback by how beautiful she was, but my biggest worry coming in was, 'What if she doesn't like me?' And after the moment I met her or spoke to her, I was like, 'I'm not going anywhere.'"

Dale said he and Clare showed up for each other -- which is something they were both missing from partners prior to appearing on The Bachelorette -- and they will continue to support each other through good times and bad.

"At the base of everything with her, in its truest form, we love each other. We had that, and it was undeniable," Dale shared. "And I was like, 'Let's do this!'"

Clare added that she and Dale were looking for the same exact things in a life partner.

"Last night, I had the worst anxiety ever and [Dale] showed up when I was pacing around the pool with anxiety," Clare recalled.

"He just grabbed my hand and paced with me around the pool. That's all I've ever wanted, is a man to show up for me, not only when it's easy and not only when it's good and fun and me in ballgowns... He's done that every single day for me."

"And you've done the exact same for me," Dale told Clare.

Clare said her relationship with Dale is everything her father ever wanted for her and he must be so proud right now and "over the moon" about what she's found.

Chris then switched gears and asked Clare and Dale if they communicated -- talked, texted or anything -- before meeting on the show given it's a little hard to believe they fell for each other so quickly.

"Did you lie to all of Bachelor Nation?" Chris asked.

"One hundred percent, no. I can whole-heartedly attest to this on my dad's grave. There was never, ever a single ounce of contact or communication or friends through outlets, through phone numbers or through any source," Clare insisted.

"And I think that to me is honestly one of the most beautiful things," she added.

Dale backed Clare's claim, saying they never once spoke, talked or texted.

"It was after we got engaged that he was like, 'Can I have your number?!'" Clare recalled.

"It was before I was finally going to go home," Dale added with a laugh.

Clare admitted, however, "I think I'd be lying if I said [criticism] didn't hurt me."

"Here is something I finally found that makes me so incredibly happy to my core, to finally feel this type of love I have been craving and wanting. I just wish people could be happy for us," Clare said.

Although Clare did blow up The Bachelorette "a little bit," according to Chris, she claimed she totally respected the process and appreciated the opportunity.

"I am so happy! How [Dale] makes me feel is literally, like, sunbeams out of my heart into the world... I just feel it to my core. Whether it took one day or 10 days or two weeks or two years, this man makes me happy," Clare explained.

Dale revealed Clare tells him "I love you" a lot but the "feeling is mutual."

"Coming into this, you think, 'Is this possible?' But there is more at work than I can ever explain, and I love her with every ounce of my being," Dale shared. "The most exciting thing is what we have coming up."

As for what's next for the couple, Clare shouted, "Babies!"

But Dale noted he'd like to get married before welcoming children.

"Whatever happens, we're just happy to start our lives together and get to know each other more and more and more," Clare said.
