The Bachelor star Zach Shallcross has revealed there's no "bullshit" or "acting" on his season and he's certainly not about the petty "drama" that usually unfolds on the show.

According to Zach, his season doesn't stand a chance to win in that category -- but he's proud of that.
"I would tell the critics and the fans, if you want to watch something, or this show, and actually see love and no bullsh-t and not a scene or not an act, then I think you're really going to love this [season]," Zach, 26, told Us Weekly ahead of The Bachelor's Season 27 premiere on Monday, January 23 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
"If you are someone that wants the unnecessary dumb drama -- alright, [but] I might not be your guy. Plain and simple."
Zach insisted that his heart was ready and open for love, and so he concentrated on finding The One out of his 30 bachelorettes.
"I know what I want out of this, and I know what it takes to have that healthy relationship," Zach shared.
The Bachelor host Jesse Palmer recently shared with E! News that Zach's season "is a bit of a throwback."
"This season is a lot more about the romance and the love, and maybe a little bit less about the drama," explained Jesse, who starred on Season 5 of The Bachelor back in 2004.
Jesse gushed about how Zach is "very emotionally mature" and made a great leading man of the franchise.
"Zach has been amazing. He's incredibly intelligent, he's mature," Jesse said, adding, "The women are there for Zach. They're really into him. He's super intentional."

In fact, Jesse teased on the January 4 episode of the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast that Zach really "shines" on his season and the technology salesman currently living in Austin, TX, really "comes through" personality-wise on the show.
"I'm really excited for people to see it," Jesse told Becca Kufrin and Michelle Young of Zach's journey to find love.
Zach's season began filming in late September, after Zach emotionally self-eliminated on The Bachelorette 19 following his overnight Fantasy Suite date with one of the season's two stars, Rachel Recchia.
While Zach had pictured the flight instructor as "the future Mrs. Shallcross" and gushed to the cameras about how he was madly in love with her, Zach found her to be "inauthentic" in the Fantasy Suite and totally unlike herself.
Once Zach confronted Rachel about his concerns, he decided to leave the show at the Final 3 Rose Ceremony. He could tell that he wasn't going to be Rachel's "person" and essentially beat her to the punch.
Zach ultimately apologized to Rachel on The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose for questioning her character, but Rachel insisted no apology was necessary and he had every right to feel that way.
