The Bachelor host Chris Harrison is teasing Colton Underwood may not be a virgin for much longer.

"Will it be in the next couple weeks? I don't know. I think it will be put to the test."
Chris was likely referring to the fact The Bachelor production is on the verge of filming Colton's round of overnight Fantasy Suite dates.
Although Colton embraces jokes about his virginity and talks openly about it, Chris insisted the 26-year-old charity founder and former professional football player takes it very seriously.
"One thing I will also say about his virginity, it kind of became a cocktail joke and we are going to deal with that on the show, and deal with why he is the way he is and why he's chosen to be the way he is. I think that's going to be compelling," Chris shared.
Colton had first revealed he's a virgin during a romantic one-on-one date with The Bachelorette's fourteenth-season star, Becca Kufrin, in the Bahamas on Season 14.
Colton reasoned at the time he's not necessarily waiting for marriage but rather the right woman to come into his life and steal his heart.

Chris therefore explained Colton's decision to abstinent "goes deeper" than his religious beliefs.
"It also had to do with prior relationships and situations," Chris noted to Extra.
Colton told Becca earlier this year he only had one serious relationship -- seemingly with Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman -- prior to going on The Bachelorette and didn't have a lot of dates because he had been so focused on his football career.

"I'm looking forward to the Fantasy Suites because you could do more in the Fantasy Suites than just have sex," Colton said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in September. "I mean, we could play board games, we could hang out."
Chris previously told Us Weekly he believes Colton, who placed fourth on Becca's season, will be a "fascinating" Bachelor because "there's a lot of layers" to him.
"Obviously, the secret's out: He's a virgin and also the question is, is he ready? Is he ready to commit? It's going to be fun to go through it with a guy with so many unanswered questions," Chris said.

Prior to being cast on The Bachelor, Colton also appeared on Bachelor in Paradise's fifth season this past summer.
Colton reunited with a former flame, Tia Booth, in Mexico, and the pair ended up calling themselves "boyfriend and girlfriend;" however, Colton broke her heart because he couldn't picture being with her forever.
The Bachelor's 23rd season will premiere January 7, 2019 on ABC.
