A Chicago college teacher with a degree in criminal justice is getting an inside view of the justice system as a defendant.

The Chicago Tribune reports that William Mosier was arrested at Truman College on drug possession charges and possession of an unregistered handgun. Police say that they found cocaine, Ecstasy and an unregistered gun in a search of his home.
Truman is a 30-year-old institution in Chicago with about 4,500 students seeking degrees and several times that number taking courses as adult education students.
Mosier is listed on the Web site as a member of the adult education department who majored in criminal justice.
