Syfy orders new 'Hunting Hollywood' movie memorabilia reality series

Sci-fi movie memorabilia will reportedly be the focus of a new Syfy docu-reality series.

The network has ordered Hunting Hollywood, which will follow Profiles in History owner Joe Maddalena as he goes on the prowl for Tinseltown memorabilia particularly from the sci-fi and fantasy genres, Daily Variety reported Wednesday.

Hunting Hollywood will follow Maddalena and his crew as they travel the world in search of memorabilia, which is recovered from locations ranging from basements and attics to celebrities' personal collections.

Each episode will conclude with Maddalena presiding over an auction where the collectibles are sold to fans and collectors.

The six-episode series is being produced by Shevick*Zupon Entertainment and is currently slated to debut in the fall.
