Sutton Foster is a first-time mother after adopting a baby girl.
"They are delighted to announce the healthy arrival of their daughter Emily Dale Griffin," Foster's rep said of the couple's new addition, who was born March 5.
"Our lives are forever changed, and our hearts are exploding," the "Younger" star added.
Foster initially announced the news Friday during her Lincoln Center American Songbook performance at Alice Tully Hall in New York.
She shared a photo on Instagram of herself surrounded by friends at the event.
"An amazing night made even better by amazing friends @tonebobb @boorobbie @menguinmcg @adamhalpin #tootallted #lincolncenter," the actress wrote.
Foster and Griffin, a 46-year-old screenwriter known for "Ocean's Eleven," married in October 2014.
The actress plays Liza Miller on "Younger," and has starred in "Thoroughly Modern Milly" and "Anything Goes on Broadway."
