Police in Miami said they arrested a 17-year-old car burglary suspect they said stripped his clothes off while struggling with the victim.

Officers said they found a man holding Kendrick Davis, 17, who was nude, on the ground at the scene, WTVJ-TV, Miami, reported Thursday.

The owner of the car and a witness told police they caught Davis, who was clothed at the time, in the process of burglarizing the vehicle Wednesday and chased the suspect.

The victim told police Davis started shedding his clothing while attempting to escape.

Davis, who police said was wanted on several open arrest warrants, was charged with grand theft and burglary.
