Winning Gillette's "Legs of a Goddess" brought Angela McLean $50,000, a fancy wrist watch and a chance to meet Hilary and Haylie Duff, who were among the judges, and other celebrities.
Now, McNeany's back in law school at Drake University. She told the Des Moines Register she does not expect her newfound celebrity to make a huge difference in her life although she would welcome any modeling work that comes her way.
McNeany's mother convinced her to enter the contest after seeing an article in the Chicago Tribune.
"I wasn't sure if I wanted to do it at first, because I was going back to school that day," she said. "But there was a chance to win $500, so I said, 'I'll be there.'"
Asked for the secret of her legs, McNeany said she has been swimming regularly since she was very young and does chair stepping and calf raises every day.
