A British law student said he lost his mobile phone when he was "mugged" by a flock of vicious geese.

Sam Rozati said the four birds began a pecking onslaught when he walked past their nest in Colchester and caused him to drop his phone, The Sun reported Tuesday.
"They flew over and started biting my hand until I dropped the phone," he said. "I had to move away for my safety."
Rozati said one of the birds grabbed his phone and fled into the undergrowth.
He said attempts to find the phone -- which was set to silent at the time of the incident -- have failed.
"I'd never been mugged by anyone before, but now I've been mugged by geese," he said.
