The 4th annual Guys Choice Awards show is to tape June 5 at Sony Pictures Studios, ahead of a scheduled June 20 broadcast.
"The 2-hour event pays homage to the things guys love most -- superstar athletes, the ladies we love, hilarious comedic performances and legendary rockers," the network said in a news release.
"This year's event will honor, among other greats, the comedic genius of Chris Rock and bestow him with the title of 'Funniest M.F.' Spike TV will celebrate Rock's remarkable body of work as a comedian, writer, actor, producer and an insightful spokesperson for the millions of less funny people who love him. The 'Funniest M.F.' speech has become a signature of 'Guys Choice' and Spike TV and previous winners include Will Ferrell and Steve Carell."
Fan voting for several other awards started Friday at guyschoice.spike.com.
