NASA officials have no idea why images of space shuttle Atlantis astronauts are showing up on an Illinois family's video baby monitor.

The shuttle lifted off Friday and live images of the seven astronauts are available online, but no one seems to know why the monitor belonging to Natalie Meilinger in Palatine, Ill., is showing the images.
"It's not coming straight from the shuttle," National Aeronautics and Space Administration spokeswoman Brandi Dean told the Arlington Heights (Ill.) Daily Herald.
Meilinger said the images first appeared on Sunday when she checked on her 3-month-old son. Being a science teacher, she said she knew what it was instantly.
Meilinger says when she contacted the monitor's manufacturer, Summer Infant, company reps said they'd never heard of anything like it.
"It's just a neat experience," she told the newspaper. "I've been addicted to it and keep waiting to see what's next."
