James "Tony Soprano" Gandolfini was uninjured when a taxi whacked his scooter on a New York street.

The star of HBO's "The Sopranos" was knocked to the ground and dazed but otherwise unharmed in the mishap late Wednesday morning, the New York Post reported Thursday.
His Vespa scooter was in the repair shop, Gandolfini's rep told the newspaper.
A witness told the newspaper Gandolfini took the blame for the accident, saying he was in a hurry and not paying proper attention.
