So You Think You Can Dance fans can rest assured the series will be coming back.

Fox has announced it has renewed So You Think You Can Dance for a tenth season.

In addition, the network revealed the upcoming season's audition locations, kicking off with Austin, TX on Friday, January 18.

"I couldn't be more proud of the amazing work that [co-creator and executive producer Nigel Lythgoe] and the entire So You Think You Can Dance team has done over the past nine seasons," said Fox reality programming chief Mike Darnell in a statement.

"This show is truly one of the most compelling series on television and I can't wait to bring it back for Season 10."

Lythgoe had first revealed the series' renewal news in a tweet on Wednesday.

"Great news for Christmas: FOX officially picked up Season 10 of #SYTYCD # DanceOnFox. First audition City Austin TX," he wrote.

So You Think You Can Dance's ninth season ended in September and concluded with female dancer Eliana Girard and male dancer Chehon Wespi-Tschopp being crowned its two champions. The dancers each won a cash prize of $125,000 and a cover appearance on Dance Spirit magazine.

The reality competition series is produced by 19 Entertainment and dick clark productions and executive produced by co-creators Lythgoe and Simon Fuller, as well as Allen Shapiro.
