A hurricane Katrina relief telethon being planned by ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, WB and UPN has been pushed back a few days to allow for more planning time.

The fundraiser had been planned for Tuesday, but network executives now say the event will most likely happen next Friday night, Daily Variety reported.
The main problem was technical -- getting enough telephone lines ready so soon after the Labor Day weekend, Variety said.
NBC, meanwhile, which is airing its own telethon Friday night, added to its already announced roster Faith Hill, Aaron Neville, Mike Myers, Hillary Swank, John Goodman, Claire Danes and Eriq LaSalle, USA Today reported.
Jerry Lewis previously announced plans to funnel $1 million to hurricane victims from his annual Labor Day telethon for the Muscular Dystrophy Labor Day telethon, which runs Sunday through Monday.
