"We're happy just to be nominated," says drummer Chuck Comeau. "It would be awesome if we win, but for us it's not the most important thing. What matters is making good records and having big shows and people come to see us. That's much more real."
Simple Plan is up for Junos -- the Canadian equivalent of the Grammys -- for Group of the Year as well as for Album of the Year and Pop Album of the Year for its sophomore release, "Still Not Getting Any," which has sold a million copies worldwide. The Junos will be presented Sunday in Winnipeg.
Simple Plan's "AOL Music Live!" concert in Los Angeles, will be webcast live via America Online. The Montreal quintet launches the "Noise to the World" tour with Good Charlotte on May 3 in Tulsa, Okla.
