London's Wyndham Theatre replaced Sienna Miller in "As You Like It" for a night after Jude Law revealed he had cheated on her.

Miller played Celia in the West End production Monday night but she did not wear the engagement ring Law had given her and was reported in tears after the performance.

Theater management decided Tuesday to have understudy Denise Gough step into Miller's role for the night, the BBC reported. Miller was expected to return to the stage Wednesday.

Law, 32, had issued a statement admitting he cheated on Miller after newspapers reported the affair.

Despite some reports the couple is trying to come to terms with Law's infidelity, Miller's mother told the New York Daily News her daughter is not speaking to her fiance.

"Sienna is angry and wants to be alone," she said.
