Shoppers at a 24-hour grocery in Wales were stunned to see a Shetland pony browsing the aisles of the Pengam Green Tesco supermarket in Cardiff.

"It gave everyone a shock, and I think it was pretty scared itself," said Tesco shopper Luke Hart, of Newport, Wales. "Suddenly, a loud shriek came from behind me and I turned round and saw a Shetland pony had gone through the main door, past the barriers, into the main store and had begun to look around."
While all in the store seemed at least initially stunned, many became amused after the pony whinnied three times and left without any assistance, the Western Mail repprted Monday.
"Looks like our great value carrots have attracted more than the average shopper into Tesco this week," said a Tesco spokeswoman.
