Shakira and Plan B have been booked to perform at the upcoming 2010 MTV Europe Music Awards in Madrid, MTV International said Monday.

They join the list of performers already announced such as Katy Perry, Kid Rock, Kings of Leon, Linkin Park and Ke$ha. Eva Longoria is to serve as host of the prize presentation.
"This will be my first time in Spain and at the MTV awards," Plan B said in a statement. "Nothing reminds me more of how far I've come in the last six months than opportunities like this."
Slated to be presenters at the Nov. 7 event are "Jersey Shore" cast member Pauly D, actress Emily Osment, "extreme pranksters" The Dudesons and TV personality Johnny Knoxville, the network said.
