Being America's Sexiest Plumber is not quite the beauty contest Lori Sardinha-Costa dreamed of winning as a child.

The 32-year-old Fall River, Mass., woman accepted her tiara and toilet-plunger scepter from contest sponsor American Standard, beating out a dozen men for the top honor, the Boston Herald reported. Sardinha-Costa will grace the fixture maker's 2005 Sexiest Plumber calendar and has won a trip to the upcoming Super Bowl.
"It's not quite the beauty contest that I anticipated winning as a child, but it's definitely still an honor," Sardinha-Costa said. "I don't necessarily always wear makeup to work and I don't always look my best, but I'm female and I'm attractive and there's nothing wrong with a female plumber wearing a little lipstick to work."
Since being named a finalist, the family business has been flooded with phone calls about the blonde plumber, the newspaper reported.
