A British woman selling her 17 wallabies is marketing the Australian animals as alternatives to lawnmowers.

Mary Davies said she has to sell the marsupials because her family is selling the Leonardslee Gardens attraction in Horsham, England, where the wallabies live and graze, the Daily Mail reported Thursday.
"Wallabies work 24 hours a day, rain or shine. They get to places some lawnmowers cannot reach and they chew along banks as well," Davies said.
"They can't chew nice stripes into your lawn, but they are excellent at keeping the grass well grazed," she said.
Davies said the animals will be sold for $440 to $1,500 each. She said the price varies on the basis of color and gender, with females being more expensive due to breeding potential, The Daily Telegraph reported.
She said the wallabies will be sold in pairs because they are social animals.
