Bloodshed marred a second Ja Rule rap party in a week, with one man killed and another injured in New York, MTV.com reported Tuesday.

Early Monday, two men ran out of the party at the LQ club, and began shooting. Two men across the street were hit, one fatally, Detective John Sweeney said.
More than 300 people were inside the club at the time, reportedly including "Fat Albert" star Kenan Thompson though it is unknown if Ja was present when the shots were fired.
Police were still investigating the shooting Tuesday and had not announced a motive. A spokesperson for Ja Rule could not be reached.
Meanwhile, police in Peoria, Ill., were still investigating a club shooting Dec. 20 during a party for Ja after he finished performing at the Peoria Civic Center.
