Seann William Scott and Lindsay Frimodt end engagement, split

Seann William Scott's publicist says the U.S. actor has ended his yearlong engagement to former Victoria's Secret model Lindsay Frimodt.

The "American Pie" and "Cop Out" star's representative confirmed the breakup to UsMagazine.com, but didn't offer a reason as to why it happened.
"They remain friends," a source told the celebrity magazine of the one-time couple.
"It was a very amicable split."
